Shwayze Signs Fan To New Label

Hip-hop star SHWAYZE was so impressed with one tenacious teenage fan's talents he has signed him up as the first artist on his new Feelgood Music label.
Tayyib Ali first befriended the rapper when he was just 15, showing up at Shwayze gigs all over America and asking his hero for tips on how to break into the business.
He heeded the hitmaker's advice to never give up, and now three years later, Ali has landed a deal with Shwayze, real name Aaron Smith, and partner, music mogul Jordan Schur.
The Buzzin' star tells WENN, "Tayyib was just a fan of my music but I always saw the potential in him. We've kept in touch over the years on (social networking websites) Twitter and MySpace and about a month ago he handed me this tape with about 20 original songs on them.
"He's gone all out, created some great stuff with some top producers and he even shot a video. I said, 'You've got a lot of style, you've done it.'
"I can't wait for the world to hear this guy - he's living proof that if you have a dream, get the right advice and go for it."
But Ali won't be the first artist released on the new Feelgood Music label - that honour belongs to Shwayze himself, who put out his latest mixtape as a Feelgood act.
He adds, "It's all very exciting. I feel blessed and I'm partnered with the guy behind Limp Bizkit and The Cure (Schur). It's an amazing time."
