West Surprises With Bar Performance
KANYE WEST sent guests at a New York Fashion Week party into a frenzy on Thursday (09Sep10) when he jumped on top of a hotel bar and performed an impromptu set in front of celebrities including NAOMI CAMPBELL, LIV TYLER and COURTNEY LOVE.
The Stronger hitmaker was attending the reopening party for the Top of the Standard lounge in Manhattan when he decided to take control of the microphone and treated partygoers to renditions of three tracks, including hit song Power.
An eyewitness tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "It was spontaneous. Kanye was there, the DJ was already playing some rap and hip-hop, and the next thing, he was on the bar on the mic."
Actors Elijah Wood and Selma Blair were also in attendance at the Standard Hotel bash.
