Lady Gaga is reportedly completing an online course to become a reverend so she can marry same sex fans during her concerts.
Lady Gaga is studying to become a vicar so she can marry gay fans during her concerts.
The 'Just Dance' singer - who was raised a devout Roman Catholic and says she considers herself "very religious" - is currently completing an online course to be ordained a minister.
A friend of the 24-year-old star said: "She has completed virtually all of the coursework. She sees this as a way of repaying the love her fans have shown her."
Once she completes the course the pop star will be able to refer to herself as "reverend or pastor".
Meanwhile, Gaga had a hugely successful night at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) yesterday (12.09.10).
The eccentric singer - who was nominated for a record 13 awards - took home an impressive eight trophies at the prestigious ceremony.
When accepting the Video of the Year gong for 'Bad Romance' from Cher, an emotional Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - said: "I was so nervous tonight that I'd let my fans down."
