Eccentric singer Lady Gaga paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen at last night's (12.09.10)MTV Video Music Awards by wearing two of his designs.

The eccentric singer - who won eight prizes, after being nominated for a record 13 - wore two of his gowns at the prestigious event and arrived at the Los Angeles ceremony in a long-flowing regal McQueen design, which consisted of gold, orange and green with a Renaissance-style art print on the front and a pair of his 12-inch Armadillo heels.
The look was completed with a long white wig and gold-feathered headdress and she was accompanied by a military-themed entourage as she arrived on the white carpet.
Later, Gaga changed into a black leather number by McQueen as she picked up her Best Pop Video award and finished the evening off in her controversial raw meat outfit, which she struggled to walk in.
She told the crowd: "This outfit's too heavy to walk in. I'm sorry if I'm a little slow this evening."
This is not the first time the 24-year-old star has paid tribute to McQueen, who committed suicide in February.
Following his tragic death, Gaga dedicated a performance of 'Telephone' at the BRIT Awards in February and also posted a picture of the pair of them on her twitter page.
