MADONNA's daughter LOURDES is determined to carve out her own career in the entertainment business - she started her first term at the school which inspiredthe film and TV series FAME on Wednesday (08Sep10).The Material Girl's firstborn child enrolled at New York's prestigious LaGuardia Arts academy earlier this year (10) amid rumours she upset fellow students after being excused from publicly auditioning for a place.
But Lourdes seemed to fit in well with her classmates - she was seen hugging and chatting to pals outside the Manhattan-based facility on her first day at the school.
A fellow student tells the New York Daily News, "I saw (Lourdes) in the morning and in the cafeteria. She was talking to people... She blends in with everyone. She seems like a normal person."
