Rihanna 'Enjoying' Battleship Filming

Rihanna has confessed she is ''really enjoying'' her acting role in sci-fi movie 'Battleship', but claims her co-star Aleksander Skarsgard is ''not very talkative''.

Rihanna is "really enjoying" her acting debut on 'Battleship'.

The 22-year-old singer confesses she is having fun on the set of the sci-fi invasion movie - based on the popular board game of the same name - but admits her co-star Aleksander Skarsgard is "not very talkative".

She told MTV News: "It's really good, really good. I'm really enjoying it actually. I like it.

"Aleksander is really cool, just laid-back. He doesn't get in the way. He's not very talkative, but he's a really cool guy and that's to everybody - not just the cast."

Rihanna was pictured shooting scenes for the moviewith co-star Taylor Kitsch in Hawaii earlier this month and was seen wearing a navy officer outfit.

Liam Neeson and Brooklyn Decker will also play leading roles in the film, which is being directed by Peter Berg.

The movie follows a group of naval ships fighting off an alien invasion looking for something beneath Earth's oceans.

'Battleship' is due to hit cinemas in May 2012.
