Boxing champion FLOYD MAYWEATHER, JR. allegedly flew into a rage after his girlfriend admitted to having an affair with basketball star C.J. WATSON, according to the police report filed after his arrest on Friday (10Sep10).
The sportsman was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny stemming from a reported domestic violence incident involving Josie Harris at her home in Las Vegas on Thursday (09Sep10).
His girlfriend also filed a request for a temporary protection order after reporting the alleged fight to police. In the documents, Harris claims Mayweather, Jr. punched her in the head, pulled her hair and tried to break her arm after entering her home as she slept, and goes as far to accuse the champ of threatening to kill her.
Now it is said Mayweather, Jr. lost his temper following a confrontation with Harris over a reported fling with Chicago Bulls player Watson.
According to the police report obtained by TMZ.com, the boxer screamed, "Are you having sex with C.J.?", to which Harris replied, "Yes, that is who I'm seeing now."
The documents also state the couple's 10-year-old son witnessed the alleged fight, telling officers he "saw his dad was on his mother and was hitting and kicking her".
Harris was subsequently taken to Southern Hills Hospital and treated for "minor facial injuries and a sore left arm".
Authorities arrested Mayweather, Jr. for the theft allegations after Harris claimed he had taken a number ofpersonal items from the residence. Cops are expected to submit the domestic violence case to the District
