Jason Statham has admitted he felt ''like a p***y'' on the set of 'The Expendables' because he was in awe of the ''legends'' in the cast.
Jason Statham felt like a "p***y" on the set of 'The Expendables'.
The British actor - who plays Lee Christmas in the Sylvester Stallone-directed action thriller - admits he was not feeling confident when he joined the cast, but confesses the cast were all great to him.
He said: "It was the first time - ever - that I've turned up on set and felt like a p***y.!
Discussing the cast - which consisted of Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke - Jason said: "Only Sly could bring all those legends together. It's strange to know they could tear you apart with their bare hands, but they are all so friendly - great mates to have in your back pocket."
Despite often playing the hard-man in action movies, Jason reveals he is looking forward to working on 'The Killer Elite' with Clive Owen and Robert De Niro.
He told GQ magazine: "Those guys you can really bounce off - improvise - do something with a little more depth.
"And Bobby De Niro - it doesn't get much better than that. Most of the time I'll have hairdressers cast opposite me. Now it's Oscar winners."
